⌂ > NOLA Pineapple Upside Down Cake

This Milkshake IPA -- an offshoot style of New England IPA -- has been dosed with Pineapple Vanilla and Lactose. Aroma has huge tropical fruit - mango gauva and pineapple.  Initial bitterness is aggressive grapefruit juice and pine resin but quickly gives way to creamy vanilla frosting, fermented pineapple and orange juice. Full creamy body and mouthfeel thanks to the lactose sugar additions.  Not nearly as weird as it sounds...this beer just works very well.
