Description: | Young Turk Pale Bock is a German lager and bocks are traditionally associated with goats. Turk is the name of a famous goat from Joanna Spyri's indelible novel Heidi and "Young Turks" is a classic synth new wave track from the raspy poof haired sire Rod Stewart named after the the Turkish secular national reformist party of the early 20th Century for revolutionary youth. The beer itself pours a nice golden orange, with a bready aroma that matches the flavor profile of sweet bread and a hint of citrus which lingers in the finish. 6% ABV | |
