| Description: | Pours deep ruby red with clarity and 1-finger light pink head, which soon dissipates to nothing, leaving no lace. Aroma of blackberries, fruit skins and tartness off pour, with berry aroma and tartness continuing, and eventually joined by some farmhouse yeast spiciness beneath the fruit. Begins very tart, which continues through cracker malt and solid berry flavor, but not into a desperately dry false finish, which eventually reveals some farmhouse yeast character and a memory of fruit juice.
