This limited release double-dry hopped IPA is the latest addition to Saint Arnold’s line-up. Sabro hops, a relatively new hop varietal, contribute huge coconut notes that harmonize perfectly with the beer’s Citra, Hallertau Blanc, and Hallertau Hersbrucker hop blend. Pours slightly hazy medium gold and immediately gives off notes of tropical fruit and coconut. Pineapple, coconut, and ruby-red grapefruit dominate the flavor, with a slight grassy bitterness in the background. At 7.7% alcohol, this beer is surprisingly crushable and perfect for a warm, summer evening outside. Grapefruit and a hint of resin linger in the finish.
