Pours a light chestnut with strong amber highlights and a khaki colored head. The aroma immediately hits you with notes of raisins, chocolate, and caramel. The flavor definitely follows suit, with dark stone fruits (raisins and dates mostly) combined with bitter-sweet chocolate and a strong caramel presence. The flavor initially starts off very sweet due to the liberal use of malty caramel, but finishes slightly bitter due to the bitter-sweet chocolate. The mouthfeel is very thin, while the flavors are very rich. 7.2% ABV
