⌂ > OEC x Bayerischer Bahnhof Gosanite (blend #2)

This complex gose is a blend of different approaches that yields a big, extremely tart wheat sour.  Composed of 50% 18 month old Gose aged in Bavarian Blue Grey Granite, 25% 1 year old ale matured in wine barrels & 25% spontaneously fermented ale.  Orange copper pour.  nose has orange zest, sharp lactic tartness, key lime pie, sea water and coriander.  Bright zesty sour character leads, orange and grapefruit juice sweetness temper the sour character.  fuller bodied than a typical gose but never more than medium bodied.
