This weizenbock pours a medium brown color with a slight red tint and a medium foamy white head. The smell is complex and very fruit forward. It is a little sweet, a little sour, and quite boozy as well. Nose has apple, grape, plum, pineapple, and sweet bread. The taste, if anything, is even more complex. A pronounced wheat flavor takes the forefront. All of the aforementioned elements are present, with clove, banana, and caramel also making appearances. The overall flavor is permeated by alcohol, somewhat fruity, and fairly sweet. $$$
