⌂ > NOLA Out Tequil-Ya

An American Wild Ale aged on Tequila Barrels with Kaffir lime leaves, coconut and pineapple.  Pours a hazy golden bronze.  Nose is subdued for a wild ale with very mild tartness, slight smoke, citrus notes and a very slight vanilla.  Taste is initially very puckering with sharp lime acidity.  Earthy, smokey tequila notes run through the middle and a very slight vegetal note appears -- think grilled cactus.  Finish is all pineapple and vanilla.
