Description: | A Belgian-style Dubbel brewed with plums, bottle conditioned in a cork and cage bottle, which weighs in at a substantial 7.7% ABV. It’s a beautiful, dark and fruity ale brewed to raise funds for Breast Cancer Awareness. This beer is as beautiful as the women it benefits. It pours deep plum color with thick tan head with pretty lacing. The aroma is full of plum and dark fruit, little bit of yeast, grape and cherries. Little bit of brown sugar as grape as well. The taste is comprised of plum and grape with the yeast taking a back seat to the fruit and malt ( Cherries and brown sugar.) The mouthfeel falls on the heavy side of medium, very well carbonated. Nice warmth from the alcohol. | |
