This refreshing beer is made in the image of the famous altbier of Dusseldorf. It is a top-fermented beer that undergoes a lagering period following fermentation to create a clean, smooth palate uncommon in most ales. It is mild but deeply complex both in malt and hop character. Biscuit and caramel malt flavors round out the assertive hop bitterness and create a smooth, slammable beer.
