| Description: | This special cask conditioned brew was made specially for the Christmas 2015 Pub Crawl in Sugar Land. This beer, its ingredient list shrouded in mystery, is Vulgar Display of Power cask conditioned with spices designed to mimic Belsnickel cookies. The base beer, named for the iconic 1992 album from Texas metal legends Pantera, Vulgar Display of Power is the debut beer from Brash's new Houston facility. This giant Imperial Russian Stout is brewed with toasted oats, vanilla beans and brown sugar. The result is a deep, soft and subtle complexity beyond the bold nearly astringent malt character you would expect from the style. Vanilla beans dominate the finish. In typical Brash fashion, Vulgar clocks in at a staggering 111 IBUs, making it even hoppier than most Imperial IPAs. 14% ABV | |
