| Description: | Ommegang's BID 2015 Tripel pours golden with a slight copper hue, a pure white head, fine carbonation, and great lacing. The aroma is sweetly fruity with Ommegang yeast spiciness. Hop aroma is well integrated while aromas of banana, bubblegum, apricot, tangerine, orange peel, and melon blend with a lightly bready malt character, and just a bit of spiciness peeks through. The taste is honeyed malt, sweet underlying citrus character, bready malt, and gentle spiciness. The finish is dry with lingering citrus and fruit. ABV: 9.2% | |
