| Description: | The fourth release in Avery's 'Sour Spring Series', Fortuna is aged in Suerte tequila barrels and pours a slightly hazy amber. Notes of American-oak, agave nectar, and alcohol are distinguishable in the nose of this beer, while the palate is far more tart with fresh lime juice dominating the palate. A subtle brine is also apparent, leading to a surprisingly satin mouthfeel. The finish is acidic, and reminiscent of the classic tequila chaser of salt and fresh lime. 8.1% abv | |
