Description: | A collaboration with Trois Dames and Crooked Stave, all three breweries brewed the exact same beer and then used similar Spanish Sherry barrels to age the beer. Jester King's result is a deeply complex wild ale. Pours a deep auburn maroon with a quickly dissipating light khaki head. The nose is tart and filled with notes of raspberry, plum, green apple skin and smoky sherry. The beer is sharply sour on the initial taste but quickly balanced by strong fruit notes rooted in a smoked oak and port wine flavor. | |
