| Description: | A vibrant, amber pour, aged for 9 months in Cabernet Sauvignon barrels, Tectum et Elix is the first release of Avery's 2015 'Sour Spring Series'. Tart aromas of under-ripe berries, and red-wine vinegar give way to a tannic palate of grape skins, with earthy undertones. The initial acidity dissipates in the finish, leaving a rustic, dark-fruit sweetness on the palate. Very sessionable at 5.5% abv. | |
