Description: | Formerly known as Hop God, this beer starts it's life as a Belgian IPA with strong Tripel style influences. The beer then spends 6 months in French Chardonnay barrels. The result is a beer of hazy goldenrod color with aromas of vanilla, oak, earthy hops, tart grape skin and belgian candi sugars. The initial taste is slightly sweet with intense belgian esters of candied apple and pear and followed by strong wine barrel notes. The finish is still intensely hop laden despite the beers age with a lingering pine and citrus finish. 10.6% ABV | |
