| Description: | This medium bodied porter pours a very deep garnet close to a coffee black color with a nice thin laced light tan head. Aromas of roasted malts, dark chocolate with hints of vanilla and spanish cedar wood. Tastes dark chocolate and heavy roasted malt up front, but finishes with slight bitterness from the dark chocolate and has the small notes of vanilla and spanish cedar with a slight warming alcohol finish. Very well balanced and unique flavor that comes from the spanish cedar...a very nicely done local porter! 7.1%abv | |
