| Description: | You'd think Wasabi might be an off the wall beer ingredient but by Dogfish Head standards, the popular culinary ingredient is fairly tame fare. From Dogfish Head's ongoing music series, the beer is a collaboration with experimental Louisiana musician Julianna Barwick. Pouring a nearly red amber, a color lent from it's use of red grain rice the beer has aromas of pine and citrus hops. Taste is much the same, pine, grapefruit rind, and mango forward with a strong cereal and caramel balance. The signature ingredient, wasabi, is just slightly noticeable on the finish, lending an herbaceous earth and ever so slight spice to the beer. 8% ABV | |
