Description: | Zoetzuur is Flemish for "sweet-sour," and this beer certainly is that. Made in the tradition of West Flanders with an added natural lactic fermentation from naturally occurring lactobacillus, giving this beer fruity, wild, tart and lactic flavors. Sour black cherry juice is added giving it a tart punch in addition to the red wine vinegar notes and oak. This is definitely one of the greatest examples of this style. 8.5% ABV. $$$ | |
