| Description: | Rufus Corvus represents the 19th in Avery's Barrel series. This American Wild started with a blend of 2 separate project beers. Ginger, a 6% sour red aged in cabernet barrels that brings red wine grapes and oak tannins. And Raven, a 6% dark sour also aged in cabernet barrels that had more lactic yogurt and a deeper body. Together these beers were blended with several additional 'orphan' barrels. The end result is a dry, acidic American Wild with plenty of red wine and oak notes. 6.83% ABV | |
