| Description: | As always, San Diego's Ballast Point looked to the sea for inspiration. A play on the fish's scientific name- torpedo californica- Electric Ray pays homage to Sierra Nevadas Torpedo, the source of much of this beers big flavor. Golden in color and light to medium in body, the aroma, flavor and finish is a high voltage hit of grapefruit and floral hops. Spiced alcohol comes to help amp it up too. 8.5% ABV | |
