| Description: | Brewed in celebration of Rice Universitys 100 year anniversary. This is a red ale with rice hulls in the mash and centennial hops in the boil. Buffalo Bayou went to Rice University and reclaimed some live oaks from campus. After treating the live oak wood, they then used it to age the beer, thus creating some really unique flavors. Aromas of grapefruit and light resin. Flavors of oak, toffee, grapefruit, and pine. 7% ABV | |
