Description: | John Barleycorn is memorialized in Enlish folk song as the personification of the barley plant, sacrificed at harvest time and later reborn as ale. Harvest Dance Wheat Wine is a celebration of John's cousin, wheat. Beginning with a large portion of wheat malt, Hallertau and Citra hops are added and the ale is aged on both French and American oak. Aromas boast floral, grassy notes with tropical hints. The taste is a big warming burst of pineapple, mango, peach, highlighted by subtle wine-like notes, and rounding slowly to a long, dry, oaky finish. 9.5% ABV | |
