It pours a deep brown colored beer and the nose is dominated by a thick caramel, figs, dates, and plums. Thick caramel starts things off in the taste and blends with molasses, plenty of berry, apple and pear notes, medium earthy hop bitterness, some background barrel notes, with caramel sweetness lingering in the finish.
