Description: | Black Abbeys winter seasonal pours an ink like black with a nice thick, lasting chestnut brown head. The addition of oats used in the brewing process gives this brew a very pleasant, creamy mouthfeel. It exhibits the classic roasted, chocolate, and slight coffee aromas and flavors that you get in a typical stout but the higher amount of unfermentable sugars used in this brew gives it a cafe mocha type sweetness. This is the reason this style of stout is called a Milk or Sweet Stout. 5.1% ABV | |
