| Description: | Born from necessity, Tepache is Argus cidery's take on the traditional Mexican fermented pineapple drink. 2013 was a rough year for Texas apple harvests, forcing the Austin cider maker to branch out to non traditional ciders. 100% wild fermented, Tepache pours a thick yellow golden with yeast, pineapple and apricot and barnyard aromas. The flavor is much the same with a distinctive sour tartness. Mild carbonation and a complex seaseme seed and wet straw note on the finish. | |
