| Description: | Courir de Mardi Gras is Bayou Teche's version of a French farmhouse style of ale known as a Biere de Mars. These farmhouse ales are historically crafted with Pilsner, Munich, and a large dose of wheat malt. Biere de Mars are traditionally crafted at the beginning of winter with the farms freshest crop of barley, wheat and hops. It pours a slightly hazy burnt orange and has a light to medium body. Bready with orange zest and slight clove in the aroma, taste, and finish. | |
