| Description: | Pours jet black with fluffy brown head. This interesting Export Stout exudes dry candy sugar, roasted malt and a hint of coffee. The taste is explosive and complex and is similar to the aroma with the coffee and candy sugar standing out. The carbonation is quite high in this stout which is a-typical for the style, but VERY typical of beers from De Dolle. The carbonation helps this brew feel much lighter than the 9% ABV it sits at and should be enjoyed slowly. | |
