| Description: | As with traditional Sahti, the brewers grains are unfiltered through a bed of juniper that BS get from local trees. There is a blend of rye, barley, and wheat to round out the feel of the brew. A small percentage of the grains are smoked over pecan wood in order to balance the juniper flavor. BS uses a Belgian Saison yeast instead of a Flemish to add a peppery, clove, bready character to this Texan twist on a Finnish favorite. | |
