Description: | Pours a very dark black with some brownish hues. A centimeter of tan head dissipates to leave just a light lace. Nice aroma of coffee, roasted malts, vanilla and oak and what comes off as noble hops. Medium to full-bodied with a very nice bitter, sweetness. The roasted characters couple with the lactose and work well together. Crisp and finishing fairly dry, the hop bitterness adds another dimension and really helps this to bite the tip of the tongue and finish dry. This version of 2x Milk Stout has been Bourbon Barrel Aged specifically for Raleigh's 12th Anniversary. Get Ready. | |
