Description: | This brew took the top award in the 7th Annual Kentucky Ale Brew-Off home brew competition in the spring. Lexington Brewing Co. collaborated with the three home brewers and scaled up the winning brew. The name for this beer derives from the tallest mountain in Kentucky. It will only be found locally and on draft. Once it’s gone, it’s gone for good. Toast, char, and chocolate all support the hops in this brew but don’t even begin to compete for balance. The “IPA” character is front and center. Pine and Spiciness are the 2 flavors you really get from the hops in this 7.5 percent Black IPA | |
