| Description: | Stillwaters Classique is a specialty grain farmhouse style Saison. For a Saison it takes on a uniquely American flavor because it is brewed using a post-prohibition recipe. Corn, rice, and pilsner malt blend with old school American hops to create this beer. It pours a vibrant golden straw color with an airy, dissipating white head. The nose is a crisp juicy mix of citrus and fruit notes that give the beer a Belgian-inspired feel. The taste is composed of banana esters, malt, spices, and pepper with a crisp grainy finish. This beer is also highly carbonated with a dry finish. At 4.5% abv it also is an insanely refreshing and session-able farmhouse Saison. | |
