| Description: | This single batch beer was brewed using Pale, Carapils, and Caramel malts with Nugget hops for bittering. Cascade and Willamette hops are used for finishing. What makes this beer unique is the last two hop additions were wet hops (hops harvested fresh and never dried). Fresh from the bine Cascade hops from Mims Distributing Company's hop field in Raleigh and Willamette hops from Dragonfly Farm in Franklin County were used. The wet hops create an earthy,grassy aroma and taste to go with the floral, citrus, spice, and piney aromas and flavors you expect and the additional fermentation and wet hops added to this cask really add to that complexity. 5.7% ABV | |
