| Description: | This Pioneer series release is a Braggot, a mead-ale hybrid dating back to the Middle Ages. Lone Pint brewed it in collaboration with Enchanted Manor, a Meadery also based in Magnolia, who supplies mead to the Texas Renaissance Festival every year. This Braggot uses American two row malt, a sprinkle of honey malt, and 1,200 lbs of raw, unfiltered, unpasteurized Texas wildflower honey sourced from Montgomery and Brazoria Counties; and of course whole cone American hops. The aroma is floral with notes of sweet white wine and honeysuckle. The taste builds on the floral aroma, with some additional spice and honey sweetness, finishing with big floral and herbal notes and a dry alcohol warmth. 10% abv. | |
