| Description: | Pours a deep cola brown with a thick tan head and produces aromas of coffee grains, cocoa and a piney earthiness with hints of lemon peel and grapefruit. The flavors of this beer mimic many of the aromas and do not fear the body of this beer. Despite the initial aromas and appearance this brew is actually medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. With the first couple of sips very brief flavors of lemon zest, grapefruit and pineapple that quickly fade to a charcoal slightly smokiness. After the initial sips earthiness of fresh pine and resin become apparent and are followed by a distinguished taste of roasted, bakers’ chocolate covered coffee beans upon the finish. | |
