> St. Stefanus Blond

Style:Belgian Strong Pale Ale
Brewer:Brouwerij Van Steenberge
Ertvelde
Country:Belgium
Container:Bottle
Description:This abbey beer has a history dating back to 1295, thanks to the monks of Saint Stefanus. This beer pours a slightly hazy orange-lemon gold with a half inch coarse white head. The smell is of lemon, orange zest, light grassy herbal notes, coriander, bretty yeast and candy sugar. There is a mildly citrusy taste with elements of lemongrass, candied sugar, bananas, coriander and orange peel. Some slightly grassy bitterness in the aftertaste. This brew had a full body with bubbly carbonation on the roof of the mouth and going down.
