| Description: | Brewed in tribute to the late Gordon Knight, the brewers had some fun with this cask. G Knight is dry hopped in the fermenter prior to filtration with Amarillo, giving it that distinctive dank, tangerine hoppy aroma and flavor. They then racked the beer into the firkin from the fermenter after this first dry hopping then conditioned in the firkin alongside a second dry hopping. This cask dry hopping was four times the usual amount and was done with four different hops, Amarillo, Columbus, Cascade and Nugget. Hop Heads rejoice, this is the light at the top of the mountain you have been looking for. 8.7% ABV. The nitrogen carbonation should add a nice creamy mouth feel as well as release more of the flavors due to the lower carbonation. | |
