> Paulaner Oktoberfest Wiesn

Style:Oktoberfest
Brewer:Paulaner Brewery
Munich
Country:Germany
Container:Bottle
ABV:6%
Description:

In the 1970's, Paulaner was the originator of a lighter, more drinkable version of oktoberfest that is now called "festbier". By 1990, festbier was the vast majority of beer sold at the Munich Oktoberfest. Pale, hazy sunshine with substantial foam, this beer looks as refreshing as it tastes. Classic oktoberfest flavors of bread and toast make an amazingly complex, malt-forward beer. Noble hop character begins to peak through, but this is definitely an exhibition of toasty German malts above all else. Light sweetness gives way to a beautiful dry finish. Prost! 5.8% ABV
