| Description: | Brewed only once in celebration of the Cleveland Indians start of the 2012 season, Great Lakes released this American Red Ale. It is pub-exclusive (except for the keg we snagged) beer named in honor of their revered local sports fan John Adams. This is a modern non-traditional style borrowing heavily from characteristics associated with more classical styles such as pale ales or bitters. The unfiltered copper-colored ale has a bold malt characteristic in the aroma and taste, but the heavy addition of hops add bitterness and aroma. 5.8% ABV | |
