| Description: | Originally a pale ale, the brewers at Allagash add pediococcus and lactobacillus bacteria strains, in addition to fresh local peaches, to create a tart, light-bodied, and incredibly refreshing wild ale. Bright amber in color, Farm to Face produces a sour aroma of peach and green apple with the faintest hint of graham cracker. Tart peach flavors come through in the palate as well. While plenty acidic, the finish is nicely balanced by the sweet fruitiness of this 5.7% abv beer. | |
