| Description: | The Kraken is a barley wine style ale that features Real Ale's '08 Sisyphus aged in American and French oak wine barrels from Sister Creek Vineyard out in the Hill Country of Texas. After aging for several months, the two offerings are then blended to produce the final product. The result is everything you would expect from the normal Sisyphus, but a little sweeter from the aging and also very full bodied. Plus, the beer has picked up awesome characteristics from the wine barrels and is pretty much liquid candy in a glass!! It clocks in around 11% ABV and 80 IBUs. Release the Kraken!!! | |
