Description: | This is the cask conditioned version of Chainsaw, the big brother of the classic Sawtooth. It pours a deep amber with a big fluffy off-white head that sticks like glue to the glass. Aromas of brown sugar and fruity malt dominate with a noticeable peppery hop note. It takes awhile for the flavors to come together, so don't be afraid to let this one warm up. Notes of brown sugar and ripe fruit with a resiny hop presence and a light alcohol burn in the finish. The hops provide more balance than flavor, but they do show up on the palate. 10+%ABV | |
