| Description: | Eric Salazar, New Belgium brewer and devoted fan of the band Clutch, happened to be eating in a sandwich shop when all of the members of Clutch walked in. Being such a big fan, Eric said hello and they started talking about beer. Eric was so impressed by their beer knowledge, that he knew that if they collaborated together it would be a great thing. Basically Eric breaks it down that Clutch is a dark stout blended with a sour ale or a sour-stout. Flavors of bitter chocolate, roastiness, vanilla and light sour funk with a smooth dry, slightly sour lingering roasty finish. 9% abv | |
