| Description: | We were able to procure several used barrels from Balcones Distilling in Waco, Texas and drove them straight to Southern Star Brewery to be filled with Buried Hatchet. Baby Blue Whisky is made from 100% roasted Hopi blue corn and briefly aged in oak barrels so that it retains rich corn flavors. This brew has aromas of coco, bitter chocolate and booze. The barrel-aging lent some complex flavors such as vanilla and some sour notes. You cannot find this brew anywhere else. Cheers. 8.25% abv | |
