A style of beer developed in the 1800s in the Hainaut provence of southern Belgium to slake the thrists of coal and stone miners before refridgeration. Perfect for the summer. Looks a lot like a hefeweizen with a big frothy head that quickly dissipates. Lots of citrus funk with a sweet, spicy and banana flavor finishing it off. Very drinkable. | |
