| Description: | The brewers at Ranger Creek took their 9.4% Belgian-style Dark Strong Ale and stuck it in a Texas Cabernet barrel for 5 months to age, mellow, and combine with the rich flavor and aroma of Cabernet wine. Aromas of fig and plum give way to blackberry, grape, and earthy spice. The rich flavor of La Bestia melds with the rich flavor of Cabernet, giving it a more earthy, wine-like character full of plump and juicy berry, with a more acidic and tart wine note. The second release in their barrel-aging program, Cabernet Barrel-Aged La Bestia is very rare and limited. | |
