| Description: | Divine Reserve #10 was inspired by Chris Landis' winning entry in the 2010 Big Batch Brew Bash homebrew competition. A lot of alcohol in the nose, but with some sweet dark-fruit notes and earthy, hoppiness. Very sweet and malty as appropriate for the style, but much hoppier than expected for an "English-style" barleywine. Still, it's not bitter as with some American barleywines, giving overall a very balanced, complex impression. A very good brew that will certainly improve as it ages. 11%abv | |
