| Description: | This Belgian-style Imperial Stout is a great addition to Terrapin’s Side Project line! It pours a deep black with a thin, fluffy mocha head that quickly vanishes. The aroma starts you off with lots of dark roasted malt and rich dark chocolate. It is followed by dark roasted coffee and a slight hint of the Belgian yeast characteristics coming through in the finish. This beer is easy to drink and surprisingly light at times despite the slight warming alcohol, roasted malt, and unsweetened chocolate that dominates each sip. As it warms a subtle banana flavor comes out with some dark fruit as well. This great stout weighs in at 8.5% ABV | |
