Description: | Brewmaster Garrett Oliver traveled to the Crisp Maltings in Great Ryburgh, England to make malt on their 150 yr old malting floor. After five days of raking, ploughing, shoveling and kilning 19 tons of malt, he gained a new appreciation for the flavors of traditional floor malts. And now we bring you BackBreaker, a robust honey-colored ale with the aroma of sweet caramel malts, toffee, and some herbal hops. The taste follows suit with the aroma very well with the malt clearly being the focal point of this brew. After each sip you are left with a hint of lingering sweetness. This one is easy to drink even with its malt-centric profile. 7.0% ABV | |
