Description: | The 7th beer in Stone's series of beers brewed with Belgian yeast designed to be aged and all drank in an EPIC tasting on 12/12/12. Pours hazy gold with a creamy white head. The aroma is a blend of banana, wine and berry, with hints of chamomile and cloves. The taste shows an increased intensity of fruit flavors as the varietal character of the Muscat, Gewurztraminer, and Sauvignon Blanc juice show up in force. The beer is tart and extremely dry, a result of the acidity of the grapes, and finishes with a lingering aftertaste of wine, banana esters and a hint of chamomile. Drink now or save for 2 years! | |
